This is the second vehicle I have purchased from Lancers and Theo makes the whole process seamless and utterly simple. Over and above this, Theo went out of his way to accommodate my working hours in order to view and go through documentation and finance after his working hours. I was taken aback at just how professional the whole approach was from start to finish. The car was immaculate, every request I made was no trouble at all and overall just incredible service from an great reliable local car dealer. Any time I needed assistance in the 2 years prior to part exchange, Theo would always be willing to assist and recommend in terms of where to service the vehicle etc. You just don't get this sort of service anywhere else - an absolute gem. Couldn't recommend Theo & Lancers enough!

Excellent Car, Excellent Customer service

Just bought our 4th car from Lancers. The service and experience you receive is first rate. He did not rush us one bit when we were trying to decide between 3 different cars. Allowed us to test drive any that we wanted to. Talked us through the differences between them all and ensured we went with the car that suited us the most. There was no pushing into actually buying a car either. I would totally recommend this garage if you want a lovely low mileage car, with the knowledge you will be looked after.

Go Check Them Out!!

I honestly cannot rate this place enough. I have always been sceptical about buying from a trader rather than the big companies you see advertised but am i glad i visited here.

I recently visited a big company for a car and the hidden extras and the pressure was just unbelievable. However when i visited here, it was the exact opposite experience. No hidden fees or admin fees (they even added petrol!!!)and certainly no pressure to buy.

Theo and Richard were amazing. Such lovely and friendly gentlemen. Explained things clearly and you can tell they look after their cars and business. They have been open for 20 years so that says enough on its own.

I bought a Mokka x and it was in immaculate condition and even had that new car smell. Lovely to drive too.

Would definitely recommend.

Great little mini cooper

A very happy and stress free experience

In my recent hunt for a car I visited many dealers over the course of a few days, and though there are still one or two who offer a decent level of customer care, some are definitely off-putting in their approach.
This, however, cannot be said for Lancers (Beckenham), and in particular Richard, who dealt with my recent enquiry both courteously and professionally, spending time to offer advice which was much appreciated at the start of my search when there are so many different choices and different offers available .
He rang me promptly when a car he thought I might be interested in arrived later that day, and I returned to test drive that and another that had caught my eye. I was happy to make a decision there and then, so impressed was I with how Lancers did business. It really did stand out!
I drove my Honda off the forecourt today. I never thought I would make up my mind quite so quickly. Thanks again Richard!

Over the moon!

Good service both for sale and after-sale

I bought my first hand car from Lancer nearly 1 year ago. Not knowing much about car, and glad to get advices from Lancer. They provided good sincere service. And the car run well so far. A point I want to make - with the car I got a year warranty, and near the end of year I had a problem with rear wiper. I had a few calls to Lancer to clarify if it is covered in the warranty, and they are willing to follow up and respond. i can see they are not only selling, but also put in effort for after sale service. I believe this is where customers can get the confidence.

how to purchase a car without hassle

A good range of cars from about ?6000 to ?10000 all in very good condition . The majority have full dealer service history and usually lower than average mileage. Staff are knowledgeable of each cars specifics .
Finance facilities if required at below market average . additional warranties available . generally an all round pleasant experience .

Having done some research on the car I already knew the price from Lancers was very near the bottom mark of what the car should sell for from a dealership. The car itself was immaculately turned out, single owner, low mileage; what you should consistently find at this friendly and customer focused dealership. Lancers was absolutely happy to let me check out all aspects of the car as well as take a test drive. The car offered no unwanted surprises and was as advertised. We discussed some niggles, agreed a fair deal and based on this positive experience I'd recommend Lancers to anyone. My overriding memory of the encounter was the friendly and honest service provided the staff. They even went as far as to help me with some drive away insurance to get the car safely and legally home so I could look around for the best insurance at my leisure. Great service and peace of mind, plus a good, honest deal. What more can you ask for ...

Fantastic Experience at Lancers!

Just bought a beautiful Mazda MX-5 from Lancers, after dealing with the wonderfully helpful and informative Richard. Have been looking around online for quite some time at a specific Mazda and finally found one that met all of our wishes, so decided to go and visit Lancers in Beckenham to view/test drive the car. After meeting Richard and seeing the car for the first time, everything just felt right and after a quick test drive round the backstreets of Beckenham, decided that this was the car for us, and put the deposit down then and there! After going to Mazda dealerships directly and test driving a few cars in the local area, it was clear that Lancers was the place to purchase our vehicle from. Not only was the car in immaculate condition, Richard was such a pleasure to deal with, and didn't have that typical car salesman vibe, just a normal bloke selling fantastic cars with the customer service to go along with it!

Excellent but..

Excellent service from both gentlemen; they were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. However, I do think that at least half a tank of fuel would just help the experience along. To have a car registering zero on the fuel gauge all the way home but with no time to seek out a reasonably priced petrol station just took the icing of the cake a wee bit.

Right from the off the service was excellent. I had an immediate response to my email to the dealer with full descriptions of the car. I arranged a viewing and test drive. The greeting was warm, friendly and personable. Genuine. No pressure was put on me to buy anything at all, the whole experience of buying from this garage was one of the best I have ever had. I would recommend anyone to buy from lancers. Everything was taken care of on the spot when I went back to purchase the car. All legalities were covered. A full service and mot were done on the car and a 3 month warranty was included with the purchase.

Brilliant experience

I bought my first car here straight after passing my test. I loved the fact that they only have top quality second hand cars on their forecourt so you don't have to worry about buying a dud. Richard was very knowledgable and helpful without ever being pushy. They gave the car a full service, replacing any parts that weren't 100%. I felt very confident that I was driving away in a top quality car. The after sales service was also excellent, Richard rang up to make sure I was happy with the car and was very useful when answering my many questions. A Brilliant Experience

We were looking for a used family car, it had to be automatic, low mileage and in good condition. Having bought a thoroughly satisfactory car from Lancers in the past we went back, while also looking around at various main dealers in our area. We found a brilliant choice of vehicles which ticked all our boxes on the Lancers site. The result is that we have purchased an ex-mobility Astra, in perfect condition. Excellent professional service!

Having not bought a car of my own for 10 years due to driving a company vehicle, I was at a bit of a loss as where to start. I knew that I wanted a low mileage automatic, no more than three years old but that was it! I started off by going to a main dealer for a make of car that I had owned in the past. They had more or less what I wanted but the woman in the showroom was rude, dismissive and knew less about the car than I did! After I politely declined her kind offer to take a holding deposit, I got the bus home and remembered seeing Lancers so went along to see what they had. Well, what a different experience from the previous one! Richard could not have been more helpful. He took me out in the cars that I liked, gave me all the information that I needed including the changes in car tax etc. He wasn't pushy just really friendly and professional to deal with. Needless to say, I bought a car! I'm delighted with it. One owner, 3 years old and 12000 miles on the clock! Fantastic!

Excellent Small but Selective Dealership

This was my second time buying from Lancers of Beckenham - the first was in 2012.
They offer quality second hand cars with low mileage and fair value and Richard and Theo provide excellent customer service.
I decided it was time to trade in the Vauxhall Astra automatic that I had purchased from them in 2012, even though it was still running perfectly and traded it in for another Astra 1.4 Turbo Sport (very low mileage / 1 owner).
Having bought and driven a lot of cars over the years, large and small, on a lot of different continents, I can honestly say that the quality and service at Lancers is up there with the best.

Excellent car dealer, top notch service

Lancers were recommended to me by a freind. I looked at several cars on their front, all were in top condition and had low mileage. I received very freindly, accurate advise on the vehicles I was considering, all my question were answered fully and demonstrations given, without any pressure to choose or make a decision. I eventually settled on a Ford C-Max and I am very pleased with the car, the purchase price and extras included. Quick, efficient, reliable seller

Bought a Vauxhall Astra with only 15,000 miles in pristine condition. Walked on to the garage, made a deposit,car taxed, car fully serviced and all good to go within 3 days. Very happy I was even given an extra 3 months free warranty so 6 months all together. Given 12 months free breakdown RAC cover complimentary, shown all the docs and car features in detail before I l drove away.. Theo also had good banter and was very calm also reassuring in a professional manner. Amazing dealer!

Gem of a garage

Why I have never used this garage before, when buying a car is a mystery to me. If you are looking for an honest, A1 condition, low mileage car then look no further. I was after an automatic and they have plenty in stock from small to larger cars. Mine, a Nissan Qashqai, came fully loaded and I drove it away 4 days after seeing it.
No pressure sales from Theo and Richard. I bought the 2 year RAC backed warranty at a good price. They offer a similar 3 month warranty with the price of the car and it gets a service before you pick it up. I would buy from here again and I certainly recommend them.

Car dealers as they should be

A really pleasant experience. Saw the car online, went along, was given the keys and left to look around, then took it for a test drive up the road. The best bit was there was no hard sell whatsoever - the car was immaculate, fully serviced and ready to go. Part exchange was painless, and I was given a very fair price I was happy with.

I can't recommend Lancers enough - Richard who I dealt with was brilliant, the car was even given an extra hoover and polish (it really didn't need it!) when I collected it 24 hours later.

The easiest car buying experience I've had in years - a small family firm, and it shows.

I had a very good experience with Lancers. The sales process was relaxed, Theo was always available to answer questions, but not at all pushy which I really liked. The car was made ready at the agreed time, and to the agreed spec. All in all a very pleasant experience.

Painless purchase of my new car

I explained to Richard at Lancings the sort of car I was looking for, fairly new, low mileage, one owner and very good condition. He explained that Lancings bought a lot of ex-Mobility cars and only took the best. He showed me several cars on the forecourt and I chose one that had everything I wanted and needed in a car. He was incredibly helpful and not at all pushy.

Great friendly service without pressure

I have bought several cars from Richard and Theo, and have always found them helpful, and the best thing is that they do not pressure you into buying something your not sure about. As a woman it can be intimidating trying to buy a car when you don't necessarily know what you're talking about, engines etc are beyond me, but I know what I want, and what I like, and they have always respected my opinions, and done their best to help, up to the purchase, and beyond with any post purchase niggles I have had. I cannot recommend them enough.

Good, friendly service, and I didn't feel like I was being sold to. Prices were on the whole fair. So far I am very pleased with the car I bought.

Only reason for not giving a 5 is that they are a small dealership and obviously don't have the range of vehicles that I could choose from.
